Compote de fruits no added sugar

Fruit compote is a classic.It pleased everyone,it can be served hot or cold,plain or with some yoghurt or pancakes.Easy and quick to make but also economic ,it can be store for 1 week or two.I really enjoyed some compote after a great meal.Is light,and sugar free.

Mangos cardamon compote

Compote de fruits ,no added sugar

Great and easy compote to enjoy anytime of the day.

Ingredients

Mango , Cardamon Compote

  • 6 Ripen Mangoes
  • 1 tsp cardamon
  • 1 lime

Kiwi Compote

  • 5 kiwi
  • 1 lime
  • dash water (Water to cover the fruit)

Apple Spiced Compote

  • 6 Pink Lady Apples
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 Vanilla Pod
  • 300 ml Water

Instructions

Mango Cardamon Compote

  1. Peel and chopped the mangoes

    Put in a pan .Bring to a simmer,then gently cook,covered for 15mins or so until the mangoes has collapsed to a puree.Add a dash of cardamon,or your favourite spices.

    Chilled for 3 to 5 days.Enjoy plain or with yoghurt.

    ( I didn't add water here ,the mango are ripe ,there are full of natural juice)

Kiwi Compote

  1. Peel the kiwi,chopped.

    Put in a pan,bring to simmer,gently cook for 20 min,add water if needed.Cooked until the kiwi is getting soft.Add some lime freshly squeeze.

    Chill 

    Can be store in glass jar in the refrigerator for 1 week.

Apple Spiced Compote

  1. Peel and chopped the apples

    Put in the pan with water,and spiced .Bring to a simmer,then gently cook,covered for 20 mins or so until the apples is soft and tender.

    Serve with some Ice Cream or on some fresh made pancakes.

    Can be store for a week in glass jar.
